In Victoria, David Turner hopes to replace David Anderson.

The Liberal government of Jean Chretien and Paul Martin carried on with Mulroney’s agenda of shifting the tax burden from the rich to poor and middle income Canadians, imposing free trade, and attacking health care and other social programs. David Turner Wins NDP Nomination for Victoria
February 23 -- David Turner was nominated as the candidate for the New Democratic Party of Canada in the Victoria riding for the upcoming federal election. Turner was confirmed today, following the adjudication of special ballots, after Saturday's nomination meeting ended without a winner being declared.
