Thank you to everyone who voted
Jun 30, 2004

The NDP is back. We're on the rise.

In Victoria we surprised a lot of people with a very strong result: 18,089 of us voted for David Turner and the New Democrats (see full results in the next story). In Victoria we are only 4.1% away from winning the seat. Together, we will continue to build the party for the provincial election and the next federal election.

The Campaign extends an especially big thank you to our hundreds of amazing volunteers, the hard-working Riding Association, a tireless campaign staff, and to all our family, friends and associates who helped with their personal support.

We look forward to the next election, and hope to see you all again soon. David Turner's election night speech follows...
